W0rld
GDD
"W0rld" is a singleplayer, first-person stealth-puzzle game made using Unreal Engine 4. The player must traverse through a maze full of AI drones as well as complete hacking minigames in order to progress. The player is given a powerful tool, the "W411_H4X" in order to see through walls and locate the enemy drones.
"W0rld" is a game made due to Cogswell Game Studio. The team for this project consisted of 4 main people. I was tasked mainly working on the UI of the project, though I also worked on loose programming and design tasks.
Hellenic Runner
GDD
"Hellenic Runner" is a singleplayer "Finite Runner" game made using the Unity engine. The player must react quickly to the level, avoiding obstacles and grabbing pickups. If the player is too slow, they will be slain by the god Athena.
"Hellenic Runner" is made due to Cogswell Level Design 1&2. For half of the development of the game, the team consisted of two people, me and an artist. I focused mainly on getting the main mechanics working.
For the second half development, the team increased to three people. At this time, I had to familiarize the third member with the code made. As well as rewriting and optimizing some code created in the first half of development.
GodKid: Quest For Cake
"GodKid: Quest For Cake" is a 2D puzzle-platformer made using the Unity Engine. The player is tasked with getting from point a to point b. Being a puzzle game, the path isn't completely obvious. The player is given the ability to click on the world to place or remove block. The player is scored based on how many blocks they shifted to get to the goal.
"GodKid: Quest For Cake" is made due to Cogswell Game Design 2. The team consisted of 3 people, two artists and one programmer. Being the only programmer, I was tasked to make basically everything related to Unity in this project. This includes the player controller, the gamestate manager, as well as the levels themselves.
The documentation for this game has been lost.
